MrDannyOcean ???

In this situation, i thought my hand was strong enough to be calling a push from 3.5BB shorty, but i didn't want to play games with the BB multiway with 66, and he's got odds to call with a lot of hands here. Are you calling here, or raising to isolate? Should we even be concerned about BB calling behind and messing with us?

BB isn't that deep compared to us so if we're going to play the hand, I would be shoving to isolate. Wanting to shove or fold depends on how wide shorty is opening, but since he's only got 3.5BBs we can assume it's pretty wide so shoving is close and probably correct against his probable range (something like 22+, A2+, K5+, Q7+, J8+ and a bunch of middle suited connectors). Also he's shoving the btn so it might be looser than this too. Shove is better than calling, you don't want to play a flop w/ a marginal holding.

I like a shove here. you don't want to flat call and have the button fallow along, then force yourself to play your pp oop with a decent amount of money in the middle already.

Ok thanks for keeping me sane guys.

I shoved here and got called by QQ and initial shover had TT. I was doubting whether it was the correct play, but i thought shoving was better at the time and i didn't want a bad result to make me think my play was wrong.

hit 745 flop and rivered a straight obv loldonakments
