50NL: Calling river w/ ace high
Villain is very very loose and loves to attack weakness. He stacked off for 75BB w/ a pair of aces and ten kicker earlier. He has bluffed at people w/ complete air in the past. He calls down with any piece of the board. What is the best line to take against a villain like this?

Re: 50NL: Calling river w/ ace high
i say fold. these are exactly the kinds of board that villains like yours prey on. If he plays with any piece of garbage, he could easily have something like 67, 78, Q-rag, mid pocket pair... at the very best, he could be betting out on a flush draw, but i wouldnt take that chance. If you even had a King on the board i would push, but you have nothing at all so you only got one option. Fold.

Re: 50NL: Calling river w/ ace high
Fold. If you call he'll likely have you beaten by mistake with something weak like 22. Wait until you have a real hand and value bet him to death.
Also, i would have cbet this flop to see if he hit it and then checked behind on the turn. |
