Re: post a fundamental rule of poker
[ QUOTE ]
If you lose most of your stack in a nl cash game, miss reloading, and are left with 10BB's at the start of the next hand, you will flop quads. If you are left with 3BB's, you will flop a royal flush. [/ QUOTE ] Soooooo true. |

Re: post a fundamental rule of poker
Whenever you flop the nut straight, the turn or river will put 4 to a straight on the board, resulting in a chop or a loss.
Whenever you flop the nut straight or flush, the board will pair by the river, if you are lucky--otherwise it will double pair. Whenever you flop a garbage 2 pair out of the big blind, you will inevitably be counterfeited. |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] - a pair of pocket ducks, the flop will contain a 3 - a pair of pocket treys, the floip will contain a 2 [/ QUOTE ] This is so true. Especially at Party. [/ QUOTE ] This is true for all PP's atleast below 8 or so. If you have 66 it will come either 5 or 7 or both, etc [/ QUOTE ] this isn't true. i can remember several times in the past day alone i have held 55-88 and the board came KQJ. |
