Default Help me out SSNL (unsure of where to post)

I have a bet with my roommates that I can't turn $40.00 into $400.00 in a weekend (48 hr period). I think I am definitely a favorite in this bet (even money), but I am unsure about what exactly the best way to approach it is.

I'm thinking about playing the $5 Stars 4 person NLHE HUSNGS until I hit $150.00, and then playing the $10 4 person NLHE HUSNGS until I get to the $400.00

A bit risky at first with ~8 buy-ins, but I think I have enough of an edge in those games (the play is pretty awful, IMO), where I'll definitely be able to win one before I go busto, and each win essentially buys you three more chances.

Is this the most efficient way to do it? I'm a better 6-max player than HU, but it just doesn't seem like the cash games are a good way to approach this type of bet. Thanks for any replies.

Mods, feel free to move.

well how much did you bet?

if i were going to do this id probably play NL10 until i got to like 100, and then grind the rest out at 25. if there is enough money you can easily do it playing cash games.

i think youd have a better chance with 2 person HU sngs as there's less variance.

also, small stakes limit is super easy if you have any idea how to play that.

2NL until 100, 10NL until 400. unless you find a juicy 25nl table

Is this seriously doable in a weekend?

in 48 hours? if your a good player i'd grind micro sng's until $100, then 6 table NL10 to about $200-$250, then grind nl25 to finish it off.. might want to mix in some sng's.

i think 10 buyins upto nl50 is safe enough if your solid/winning player.
