2-4 NL a bit deep, QQ RR\'ed villain likes to bet apparently
Full Tilt Poker - Pot Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)
SB: $384.90 BB: $1,530.10 UTG: $463.00 MP: $679.50 CO: $374.00 Hero (BTN): $671.90 Reads: Villain is on the laggy side but definitely not bad. He runs like 38/21/3 and we haven't really tangled yet. I may have three-bet him once or vice versa but no big pots. This hand felt weird and I wasn't really sure what to do so I called down. I'm running like 23/17/2 at this table. Anyway, thoughts? Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG folds, MP raises to $8.00, CO folds, Hero raises to $30.00, 2 folds, MP calls $22.00 Flop: ($66) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) MP bets $66.00, Hero calls $66.00 Turn: ($198) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) MP bets $99.00, Hero calls $99.00 River: ($396) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) MP bets $198.00, Hero calls $198.00 Pot Size: $792.00 ($3 Rake) As you can see he's using the "bet pot button" on the flop and the "bet half pot button" on the turn and river. |

I find it hard to see a hand we're ahead of on the river. I think the flop and turn is ok though.

Is villain Xis10tialist?
EDIT: Come back here and reply pussy it's not that late (except it is and I have to go to bed soon ) I think calling down looks good vs most villains, including xis. He's fairly aggressive. |

I know who you're talking about and no it wasn't him, it was some guy named momi265. Your standard ok 35ish/20ish lag, plays too many hands but doesn't get too out of line, sometimes doesn't know why he's betting etc.

Re: 2-4 NL a bit deep, QQ RR\'ed villain likes to bet apparently
The reason I decided to call down instead of folding turn or river is mainly because of his bet-sizing. He's not betting as if he wants to get all the money in, and since it's pot limit he needs to bet more in order to get the stacks in. I'm ont sure if he'll take this into account or not but in a way the 1/2 psb's kind of seemed like blockers. The flop psb lead was scary though, and I don't like calling down when someone leads into me three times.
Still not totally sure, what do you guys think? |

you should be raising this flop and trying to get it allin. as played i think u have to call this down.

I suppose we could protect against draws but I feel like I'm WA/WB here a lot, he's either bluffing or v-betting a worse made hand when he pots the flop, do we think he leads the pot into us with a draw? Maybe. I still think controlling pot size and getting to SD is a much better plan than getting it AI here on the flop. |

this line looks good to me. he could have hearts or TT-88 often enough. plus some other weird hands, given villain.
