Doesn't have to be one person...The article sounds like a composite--snips from the lives of several individuals, made to appear as one guy. Reminds me of one of my "broke" episodes, where I had to sell my beautiful Mustang. But, that was it. My entire world didn't collapse--family problems, etc., like in that article. Selling your car because of gambling is "normal"--selling your house? Dunno!!
