Followup: An autopsy showed that we had a daughter. We named her Trista Joy.
Two weeks following delivery, my wife starting experiencing abdominal pain. This had happened before when she was throwing clots after delivery, so we didn't think much of it, but after two days of near constant pain, we went to the hospital. REALLY long story, as short as I can make it - a week's stay at the hospital later, the doctors still don't know what's causing it, and they take her in for exploratory surgery. They clean her up, and a week later, she finally comes back home, with an 8 inch incision across her belly, and instructions that she probably shouldn't try to get pregnant for about 6 months after surgery, to allow her body time to heal. That was back in February. Well, it's been a long year, but now I'm glad to say that my wife is 5 weeks pregnant! She's due April 16th. Her first ultrasound is in just 5 weeks due to her history. Get us back on that list!! jb

Congratulations JB!
I have been late with the update (dcasper the red shaming highlight is very effective [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]). I am happy to say that our twins were born, happy and healthy, on July 26th. We received the call to come into the hospital at 7:30 AM to be induced (37.5 weeks), and arrived an hour later. 3 hours of contractions followed. My wife felt like a nap in the afternoon (4cm dilated) and told me to go get something to eat in the cafeteria - I returned shortly afterwards and she was fully dilated! 3 hours of pushing, but extra help was needed. We went to OR and a team of 12-14 medical professionals helped to deliver our babies. Truly amazing and overwhelming experience. Oliver (6.8 lbs) and Ella (5.8 lbs) were born 20 minutes apart. Three weeks tomorrow! I forget how to post pics, but I will look into it again. Best wishes to all!

Expecting our third and fourth (ugh) at the end of September/Early October. Because it is twins (and will be a scheduled C-Section) it will be at least 2 week prior to their due date of 10/18. Both girls --- haven't picked names yet though we are leaning toward Anna and Emma.
