Default Re: Possible breakeven player?

Thanks for all the responses, made me feel a little bit better.

I just had a HU session and dropped 8 buyins. 4 bad beats, 1 bluff, 3 very hard hands to get away from.

I can agree that I might not have been playing at my best when I run this bad but still it feels like I play the same game when I am winning.

is the new pokerev out yet rain?

Yes, the newest version is beta 0.79, it's here: http://pokerevsoftware.com/beta/PokerEV%20Installer.exe

I still prefer to use 0.77 though, as 0.79 is the 'cleaned up version' but I like the extra functions in 0.77, although they are not fully tested and give skewed results.

True.

You probably make the same mistakes when you're running good, but then you don't notice them because you're winning money anyway. And you can still be a winning player if you make mistakes.

Of course, you'll win even more when you make less mistakes, but that's another thing

My 35k breakeven stretch was probably 50% tilt and poor focus, and 50% poor cards/beats.

you might not want to play hu if you are looking to minimize variance.
