Re: JJ in blinds
Yeah, I'd jam it in PF. I'm guessing this is low-limits because of th 7x BB raise, even after a limper. You'll probably get called by AK a bunch and very rarely QQ, but such is life.

Re: JJ in blinds
Yes. You are out of position with a decent hand that doesn't play well multiway (or out of position). If you just call you will probably have the UTG call as well (which happened). Either let it go (which I wouldn't) or make it 900-1200. You'd be just fine taking this down now.
Anyone who would push instead of jamming it more, I'd like to know why (not that I think it's wrong, just for some reason I can't put my mind on pushing not sure why). |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not necessarily shoving unless I think that the limper/raiser are loose, but I can see a shove only b/c if you make it 1200 and get flatcalled or raised, I think you have to put it in ASAP. -eroc |

Re: JJ in blinds
Reasoning thus far (flawed):
I figured UTG limper has ATC, pretty much. The raiser raised big, and raises play pretty face up at this point. I figured AQ+, 99+ here on the raise. Didn't really expect UTG to call, but I didn't want to get it all in here when I figured if he had AK/AQ I could get his money on the flop and escape from a bad flop cheaply. Three-way this sucks, obviously. Anyway. I still planned to jam over his CBet, but UTG opening = hand. |

Re: JJ in blinds
buy-in? any reads?
I don't really like pf. Usually these overbet raises don't include KK/AA (sometimes QQ). I would probably jam and expect to get called by 88-TT/AK/AQ. Flop I don't know.. C/F looks ok I guess. |

Re: JJ in blinds
Buy in is somewhere in a micro. Don't remember exactly.
I see some small overbets like this come out big hands. I suspected way more than I should have. Literally I'm beat by anything on the range of raising on this flop though. Like I said, I didn't expect UTG to call at all, and typically when I'm jamming pre, it's more to do with there being a lot of dead money to create. This time the dead money is 50 chips. |
