Re: gameplan for downswings?
[ QUOTE ]
November however has been my first really awful month and unfortunately I've had the time to play a very high volume too [/ QUOTE ] Maybe these two things aren't coincidental? Hint hint... |

[/ QUOTE ] possible...feel like I have a decent feel for my game and am well aware when I am tilting or playing poor...this is mostly just lot of late flips, suckouts and coolers...nothing insanely terrible but... Re: gameplan for downswings?
My best advice is to take a week off, and no cheating. Read some of your old poker books and see if some of the writings have different meanings than they did before. Read some new books if you can, and see if there is something you can add. Take notes. Reread all the anthologies here. Take notes. By the time the week has passed, you'll be hungry again and seeing things a little differently.
Some people who have done this have moved their game forward in a surprising way. Burnout can be deceiving. The other approach I could suggest is to try playing micro-stakes mixed games for a little while. A little HORSE can be a lot of fun, and is sometimes refreshing. |
