Default What happened to limit hold\'em at Caesars Indiana?

I used to go to Caesars Indiana about once a month to play 20-40 limit hold'em since I can't seem to find a regular game in Indianapolis. I hadn't been in about six months since yesterday. When I got there (Friday night), the poker room was full but there was no 10-20 or 20-40 limit game running. The highest limit game going was 4-8. Was this just a freak occurence or the way things always are now (I got varying answers from dealers and players I asked)?

The trend is clearly moving towards no limit. Being from Indy Resorts East Chicago may be your best bet. Every time I have been there 10-20 & 20-40 games were running.

The 10-20 is slowly dying there too. The new 1-2 game is getting more play. 20-40 is still good though.

This is what I may end up doing, but the drive is quite a bit longer. Any other casinos within 2hrs with good mid limit games spread?

I was at Caesars IN a few weeks ago, and they had a 20/40 (might have been 30/60 -- I play 1/2NL) game going. Took a while to get it started from what I'm told. This was a Sunday. Apparently they had one the night before, too.

Was it the 30/60 Stud game?

Oh, maybe it was, but I thought she meant Hold 'Em. Sorry if I was wrong. I can't imagine playing that high, so I'll just keep quiet

They had a 20/40 going on a saturday during the circuit event for about 1.5 hrs. I was playing in it for a little bit, didn't seem to profitable so I moved to the 10/20 O8 game.

That 20-40 game is always fairly tough. Even when it used to run regularly, I found it to be one of the toughest 20-40 games that I would regularly play in. Compared to other 20-40's that I've played (resorts near chicago; commerce; casino arizona) this one always stood out in my mind as being tougher (still beatable, but not as easy for me). I never really had enough hours to make any statistically significant conclusions though.

Have you tried Argosy down by Cincy? Not sure how long of a drive it would be but they usually will have a 10/20 game going.
