Err easy shove, you shouldn't be looking to move up one spot in the money ladder, you have to look towards the final table

99 is a much better hand than a lot of what you could legitimately shove in this situation. Just because (I assume) you got beaten, doesn't mean it's not the correct play.

You dont even need to post the results after the preflop is over. Unless you're at the final table and the money difference escalates greatly then you need to be happy to get it in with nines. Your M is like 3 right? and the blinds are approaching!
