definately true. I spent way too much school in pointless classes while my friends at home jumped right into their major classes pretty much.

Canada has classes you have to take in order to be considered for university which sounds alot like the AP classes people tell me about...I think thats where the dif may be.

fwiw, i didn't find canadian HS hard, but it was much harder than HS in the states. Dunno about universities in the states.

yea i def agree the US university has a lot of useless classes. But a lot of those classes like calculus are review for you (and some americans) but the avg american it isnt which i guess why the 1st couple of years of american undergrad school is more focused on classes like those; which would make it seem easyer for you. Also it does sounds like atleast canadian school system is def in better order. Like pathetic says. US universities get harder after the 1st couple years.
