Yeah, you think Santana is sick NOW, just wait till he gets to face the Twins 4 starts per season.

I can save time because Florida never offers to get established players.

I don't think I would trade Hanley for him straight up though. Or Cabrera.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think I'd trade Hanley for any single MLB player/pitcher right now.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was thinking about this when I made that post and agree.

This guy is apparently the most valuable player in MLB and I've never heard of him.

Seriously? He is 24 and was the best offensive SS in baseball this year by a significant margin. Probably the best offensive season by a SS since ARod was traded to the Yankees.

Seconded. That team (unless you gut them in the trade) would start with a 8-10 game advantage in the standings.

Hanley. I still don't know what his first name is. I guess I'm not watching enough Sportscenter.

Hanley is his first name, and is more recognizeable because his last name is a generic Hispanic name (Ramirez). He was the main offering of the Josh Beckett to the red Sox deal as a red sox minor league prospect. He's not well known because he plays for the Marlins.
