since everyone has different opinions on this...what bankroll requirements do you use for 6 max/HU?

[/ QUOTE ]

The bigger the better. Don't spend any money, don't invest, don't go busto. Just build the biggest bankroll you can stand. That is just me though. If I had to throw out a magic number, I'd say 35.

Padres close out the season with a 4 game series against the brewers.

So yes, the cubs will win the division, and we will both be happy.

have you lived in san diego/cali all your life? if not where else? what do like most/dislike most about living where you do. what non-poker activities are you into?

i don't know much about your poker career but have been considering putting a lot of time into getting good at hu (i play 6-max now). how much (if at all) do you think it would help my 6-max game?

What was your biggest Aha moment where everything clicked??

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not sure but the biggest thing for me now is trying to fix everything that doesn't have to do with my actual poker skill. Eliminating distractions, no tilting, playing higher limits but less tables, moving my bankroll around so I can have more fish. All this stuff adds up, and you haven't even played a hand and you just got a 25% raise.

If you look at all the high stakes guys, and their stories, and their outlook on life and how they moved up for the ranks, they all have things in common that you can use in your own poker life to improve.

Does weed help your game?

How many hours per week do you play?

SD seems like it would kick ass, do you suggest moving there?

Your story is pretty inspirational tbh, mine is similar only without the success. Let's me know there's hope.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sometimes, but obviously way more negative. I can get pretty focused when I'm high, but then make loose calls, or I'll go to make a pizza and forget about my tables.

right now, I'm trying to play about 25-30 hours a week. This year so far i've averaged about 18 hours a week. Which is pretty bad, but I've been traveling a few times, and moved houses a few times. So I've finally settled down for a while.

no don't move here. there are too many people already!

Do you mind posting a hand you recently played, which you are proud of how you played it?

Recently, with school starting back up, I've been playing less but when I do I play drunk and way over my bankroll, and have managed 80 bb/100 over maybe 100 hands at 5/10 6max NL. Sustainable?
