Re: 2007 Atlanta Braves Thread: Reclaiming the NL East
You do realize the Mets are running red hot in 1 run games, right? Bullpen can't be that bad (19-11).

Re: 2007 Atlanta Braves Thread: Reclaiming the NL East
^^oh, i know the stat, but over the last month+, it has been horrible and i can't say i'm surprised, the starters are fairly old and can't go deep and the wear and tear on the pen is starting to show...it was great, but everything has fallen apart over the last month or so...
it doesn't help that even with the callups, willie used his regs in a blow out yesterday, even if 2 of them were bad ones, even the bad regs need the rest regardless as they'll be on the roster IF the mets make it to the playoffs... |

GG Atlanta Braves you [censored] suck! They layed down before the post-season this year so I wouldn't waste $$$ on buy tix.
If JH and BC aren't gone I'll be surprised/pissed. And get rid of RM he's a [censored] pitching coach. /rant |

Edgar, Chippa, Tex are pretty damn awesome. Happy with Diaz, hopeful with Kelly, Escobar. Want to throw up about Andruw for most of the season. Pitching, Smoltz and Hudson are da bomb. Rest of the top 5 are blah. Mahay, Moylan, Acosta have been impressive. We really could have used Gonzalez this season, hopefully he'll be back. Soriano needs to stop giving up the longball. We had some good things and a lot of bad things happen this season. We need to scrap some things but we really need some help in the rotation. Offensively has been a big plus this year. |

It's good to see the team not quitting and I love our young guys. Highlight of the season is sticking a dagger in the Phills!

Um, Do any Braves fans think Cox pulled Carlyle just to shove it in his face. It sure looked that way. The Mets broadcasters are acting like this move made sense but ummm, what?

One bright spot for the Braves: Chipper could win the batting title.
