Default Rate the security&legitamacy of the poker sites

Hi all,
I would like to sign up to a online poker site and make a big deposit.

I would like to know your suggestions & reviews of the top online poker sites for USA customers?
Which have the best security and are the most legit and financially strong?

Thank You

PokerStars and FullTiltPoker.

PokerStars is less high stakes (you said big deposit, not sure how big is big for you) and more so micro and low/medium limits. If you're a high stakes player, FTP is probably for you. Likewise, if you're an incredibly micro limit (maybe low stakes) player, FullTilt might be better as well due to rakeback. It also depends on what interface you like better, I hate playing on sites that I can barely look at (duh).

So by far, PokerStars or FullTiltPoker are the top two. Both are incredibly financially strong and legit companies and poker sites for USA poker customers.

If you're worried about it, go with Poker Stars.

I trust money most with pokerstars followed by fulltilt.

I absolutely do not trust absolute or ultimate bet.

Just don't buy any FPP bonuses on Stars. That triggers the Doomswitch like you wouldn't believe.

ok I understand why not AP at the moment.

How come UltimateBet is under its shadow or being scrutnized as well at the moment?

They both have the same ownership ranks I believe (or very similar)

Yes, and ever since the UIGEA they've been making hell for most people to cash out, from what I've heard.

I trust FTP with my money enough to keep the majority of my roll on there, and I think they do a decent job and usually get most conflicts resolved. But PokerStars is absolutely outstanding in this area and with customer service in general.

Same here, I also like Bodog/Cake but wouldn't put a large amount anywhere but Pokerstars. In fact, I have more in Pokerstars than my bank most of the time.
