All In Card Club in NYC Busted - Page 2

So how many clubs were busted in the last 48 hours? 2? 3? more? We are clearly being told that the law is the law and it is the job of the police to enforce it.

That being said, AC and the internet are not options for those of us that (1) work and want to play in the evenings and (2) find internet poker tedious (and know that all of the internet sites or rigged and/or all of you internet multi-tablers are cheating). [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

AC saturdays, I work 8-8 M-F and make it happen. NYC games would be nice but its too -EV with the chance of police coming.

So if someone gets off work at 6, you think trying to drive to Jersey in rush hour traffic and then drive back later that night is a reasonable alternative to taking the subway to a club a half hour away?

If playing live poker is important to you, you may have to consider moving. I live in DC and am considering doing just that - the 4 hour hike to AC every other weekend is killing me. I'd love to be able to play live more.

That's a compromise you want to make... and the -EV effect of being present during a raid is really not so great and can be minimized...
