Default River action vs Steve Giufre

Would appreciate responses from people that have played against Steve.

Steve Giufre checks, Hero...?

Is this a valuebet? I was kinda worried about my kicker, among other things.

I have never played with Steve, but I'd value bet this. He almost has to pay you off with anything that can beat ace high.

i would bet

i think you are almost certainly ahead here as he would probably value bet any pair

he likes to c/r his draws a lot, if he happens to have an ace-high draw, i think he pays off, you might not get called very often, but i think when you do get called, you are good most of the time

i would not be worried about your kicker, as you have a pretty good kicker for a 7 i think

the only thing that would make me lean towards checking is that he might be more prone to 3-bet Axs hands preflop, but im actually not sure about that

Did you consider 3-betting the flop or raising the turn? Both are better than the line you took IMO.

I haven't played him obviously just a question.
What hands do we expect to make money from? A6, 67, T7s, Axs?
Wouldn't he 3-bet PF with a A8+, or even Axs ?
