Should be interesting. If I'm not mistaken, you'll be getting LESS resolution on those TVs than on a simple Samsung 20" 1600 x 1200. Of course your advantage is that you can resize the tables, which would start getting too small to see easily on a 20". At some point though, the resolution will limit you. No matter how big the TV is, if the resolution doesn't increase, you're going to end up with some blocky-looking unviewable tables. I'll be interested to see your results regardless.

I purchased the HP version (HP LP3065) as it was better reviewed, has more features - input slots and the Dell was on backorder. It is slightly more expensive. I haven't used both so I cannot compare directly. Apple and Samsung also make 30" displays.

I've done a [censored] load of research on these as well and have found that the HP is better thought of than the Dell.

I will soon be getting the 30" HP w/ dual 20" on each side, such as others have posted. $2k well spent, imo.

That pic is a 32 inch. It wil be intteresting to see the 55.

i just ordered the monitor on the 11th and it says it's in production till the 22nd then i got overnight shipping. is it really going to take that long for those who ordered it? 11 days for production and i'm just getting a monitor, sheesh.

thanks, hopefully it will be quick with mine (i'm an impatient little kid, what can i say?) . did yours also have a long production time and estimated shipping date (sep22 is the estimated)?
