[/ QUOTE ] I'm raising you here either as a value bet [with a hand that crushes QQ], a semi-bluff [like 88], or a total bluff [rare]. I'm not somehow raising for value with a hand that you beat. I'll lean towards betting a set here, but I'll check behind with it some percentage of the time as well.

Well, I'd rather raise w/ 88 than 99...as both of them are probably behind your holding, but one has ten outs and the other six.
If I thought you'd fold here way more often than you're 'supposed' to I might add 99 to the mix, though.
