1 Detroit vs 8 Calgary

One of the easiest series to pick imo. Calgary should take this one pretty handily. Detroit is too old, too European, and Datsyuk and Zetterberg are proven chokers. Calgary may have the best team in the nhl on paper and the playoffs is their time to shine.

It's not too late to admit that you were completely wrong in this prediction. You can claim that you were drunk when you made the post.

It's never premature after a beating like that. Got to talk smack when you have the opportunity. I'm personally waiting for the Flames to get swept to make my mark!

Briere Not Seriously Injured
WGR Newsroom - Friday, April 13, 2007 - 10:36 AM

(WGR 550) - Daniel Briere missed Friday's practice at the Amherst Pepsi Center but it turns out that the Sabre forward isn't expected to miss any games.

Briere blocked a shot in Buffalo's 4 to 1 victory over the Islanders. He is expected to play tomorrow night in Game two according to WGR 550's Paul Hamilton.

The pregame show begins at 5:30 tomorrow with Brad Riter. Keep your dial locked for the latest news.

Does anybody else sandbag the regular season as much as Jagr?

I forgot how good he can be when he gives at least a B+ effort.

[/ QUOTE ]

To be fair he was hurt the first half of the season and I give him at least a little props for playing through it.

But yeah, the last 10 games of the season and game 1 last night have shown that he has the ability to dominate any game.

Another quality post from you.

"I've said my piece" (when you haven't even stated [censored])
"Preds are awesome!@!" (without giving a single reason)

I'll be expecting more claims without any justification.

Is it wrong that I want the Sharks to lose just so this guy goes away? You'd fit in with the whiny Sabres fans. Just shut up already.
