Ever bought a "new" laptop off ebay?

It was several years ago. I believe it was "refurbished" with a service arrangement. It came dead and was a roll in the dirt to get anything done to it. The service company gave me a read between the lines assessment of the guy who was selling them which basically amounted to a simple lesson that I should never buy another laptop via Ebay again.

outlet.dell.com is where I bought my last desktop and laptop. I saved hundreds and haven't had a single problem.
