Re: ($27) Double barreled QQ flop question
I think a check is ideal for scenario 1. If you bet the flop, he is calling with any draws so we are not really gaining if he has a king/jack or is calling a bet with a flush draw. When you check, if he bets out 2/3, assume he has a king and fold. If its less maybe we can put him on a jack. Probably still a fold though, as the pots too small to go crazy here.
Scenario 2 is a fold, unfortunately. |

Re: ($27) Double barreled QQ flop question
Scenario 1 - Cbet this flop, he should equally or more afraid of this board as you.
Scenario 2 - I like calling his bet and then re-evaluating the turn. When we don't improve and he fires a second barrel than he can have it. My gut tells me he will check the turn a high % of the time. In this case I would check behind and bait him into trying to steal it on the river. |
