PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t30 (7 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

Hero (t1470)
UTG+1 (t3000)
MP1 (t1420)
CO (t1515)
Button (t3185)
SB (t1390)
BB (t1520)

Preflop: Hero is in UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Scenario 1: SB checks. Cbet or no?

Scenario 2: SB bets 150. Our play?

1. check behind - bet the turn if checked

2. call or fold depending on villain. Usually fold.

I think a check is ideal for scenario 1. If you bet the flop, he is calling with any draws so we are not really gaining if he has a king/jack or is calling a bet with a flush draw. When you check, if he bets out 2/3, assume he has a king and fold. If its less maybe we can put him on a jack. Probably still a fold though, as the pots too small to go crazy here.

Scenario 2 is a fold, unfortunately.

Scenario 1 - Cbet this flop, he should equally or more afraid of this board as you.

Scenario 2 - I like calling his bet and then re-evaluating the turn. When we don't improve and he fires a second barrel than he can have it. My gut tells me he will check the turn a high % of the time. In this case I would check behind and bait him into trying to steal it on the river.
