Default 50nl 99 overpair in 3bpot, line check

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $163.40

CO: $15.60
BTN: $57.85

Reads: villain was playing 35/25/oo over 40 odd hands. i havnt got any reads on how hes playing post flop, ive just noticed hes been raising/calling pfrs a lot. 1st hand i saw - someone minraised, then there was a min 3bet, he min 4bet to $2 then folded to a 35bb shove.. so he doesnt seem like the best player in the world.

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players)

Flop: ($15.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $11.00, SB raises to $32.00, Hero folds

Pot Size: $58.50 ($1.80 Rake)

is it fine to be 3betting 99 here since i have position and 99 is def ahead of his raising range, + he prolly calls with all sorts of broadway. or would just calling pf be better?

should i always be cbetting here? for protection and cos i prolly have the best hand. once he raises i need to decide if i wanna play for stacks... dont really fancy putting in 200bbs with a marginal overpair w/o a good read so i folded.
