he probably just came off the blocks, so he was looking down.

It was a simple misunderstanding...

The guy in the orange pointed at her and said, "I'd hit it"

Not understanding American slang, the runner took off thinking he would beat him to it. Just a communication barrier, thats all.

I think the dude miscalculated his speed relative to the girl's, he is like oh I will def. run across before she even makes her second step [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

he had a positive nonzero equity on 4 streets. you only had it on 3. way to draw dead fish.
