Default PS 5/10 AA vs a regular

Alright, reads on zio is that he's a decent/good tag regular, 21/16 or so, a winner at 5/10 PS game.

As far as recent history, he's caught me squeezing once this session and i failed a 2 barrel vs him on a 9 9 3 flushdraw board where he had 88. I checked behind that river.

If you're calling, what do you expect to see?

If you say I should have shoved the river, what do you
expect him to call with?

Thanks!

Easy river shove.

Pocket pairs

If you check the river, it should be with the plan of folding.

This is a great card to push the river with against a thinking player.

I know, but honestly I'm not sure I give him enough credit yet to be on that level.

No offense to zio if he's reading, i just don't know how in depth he's thinking. Vs cts or krantz i'd definitely shove the river etc.

guys he flat called a minraise and 3-bet here, then he called 2 streets, usually meaning boat. If he had a mid pocket pair here he's got to be awfully retarded to call a 3rd barrel. Given that he bets the river i think you are almost never good because he'll check behind mid pairs in this spot. Pretty sure this is one of the tough folds you gotta make.

i agree with this part. i would just like to add (not sure if people think like this though). from villians point of view; hero has 2 barreled twice (therefore showing capability that the hero can do it) also if KOWKILLER had AK or AA or KK he would shove river because the pot is so big and he would want the villian to call. villian might think htat it is highly unliekly that hero would check KK or AA or AK and shove his pp that he floated with twice and try to get the hero off QQ JJ (not likely JJ).

with all that said i still fold.

Ah, I thought that villain was the min-raiser.

c/f looks much better, now, and is likely the best line.

Given the history, I really like a call here. If a fold is profitable (and I don't believe it is against this player), then it can only be marginally so.

I would need a very strong read to crai here. If he has the made hand, then we're walking right into his trap and despite previous history, he will still get away from most hands that we beat.
