- Cocaine abuse produces a variety of toxic effects : cocaine psychosis similar to that with amphetamine, panic disorders, convulsions, brain damage, liver toxicity, hyperthermia, muscle damage, cadiovascular toxicity leading to sudden death, pulmonary complications (generally with crack smokers)
- The most common toxic effects involve the cardiovascular system : cardiac arrhythmias, cerebral thrombosis, cerebral ischemia ... -credit to that to my professor
