If he folded, you had the best hand.

I disagree that he is bet calling JJs here or any similar hand. IMO not that probable.

So it's a B/F??? I think he would take another line with JJ usually but I think JJ with a spade is the bottom of his range and he calls with it.

agreed with catcher. if he's betting JJs then he's doing it to b/c and never to b/f. this bluff is pretty sickening. i can't think of any hands that he's b/f except complete air. so like nielsio said, if he folded you had the best hand

A few questions:
1. How often is 66 the best hand on the turn?
2. Is his range polarized - is he more apt to check if he actually hit the ace?
3. Does he pot control an underpair to the board, or bet/evaluate? Clearly we want him to bet/fold that stuff.

I actually like your move here, because you have the best hand a decent amount, which is why it's a good bluff. If he bets an ace I dont think he folds, but he may not even bet it. I have played with him but dont really recall his tendencies.

its certainly ok to pick up the pot with the best hand... if we know we have the best hand, is shove or call better? in this spot, most of the time, shove is better.

MDMA- Is it the stack sizes or the play in a vacuum that has your stomach churning?

disagree, if he has black jacks or something and bets it they will always call, given the odds given and the fact: sometimes they have the best hand, and when they dont, they have flush outs or boat outs, most of the time are clean.
red jacks, though, if they bet, they may fold.

Well, obviously if he bets JJs he's calling. That's not what I'm saying. My contention is that its not very likely that he's betting JJs in the first place.

Yeah but this should be obvious, I just threw that out there as probably the bottom of his range that he can b/c here for value, regardless of how "likely" it is.
