I don't understand what makes people good...I still haven't grasped that. I've played a lot of hands unstandarishly lately, so people can't say I'm ridiculously straightforward. And I can come at you with a 3 bet with a wide range of hands, so that can't be it.

And I generally don't stack off light, so that can't be it.

And I can make some big calls with light holdings, so that can't be it.

Oops, we are falling in that trap again.

Back to the reg thread and off of me.

My Top 5, and I'm sure you care (in no particular order)

NutMucka
Murph0101 or something (might just be a huge nit that coolers me every hand we play)
Nsd4eva
ZekGB (tricker than you think, and I've learned that)
Lucky Wins

and honestly do people really think I'm that horrendous, for those that actually play hands against me....and what do you have me at?

[/ QUOTE ]

Small sample, but one thing stood out. You seem to have a habit of calling one raise postflop then folding the next street - no idea if this is a leak or an issue of sample size. Your hands are also very well defined, including the one big bluff I've seen you run, most times. You're unlikely to induce a mistake from a decent player. I have you running in the red at around 17/13.

I also think you made a mistake outting your screen name to all of 2+2. I've found 2+2ers to be some of the most spewy aggressive at $200 if you maintain a decent image, but it'd be one hell of a task for you to change your perceived image to most 2+2ers now.

The 2 winners with a PFR of 18+ are carrotsnake and mdom

[/ QUOTE ]

That is because these two are good whereas almost every other stars reg plays almost the same 18/15 game as the next guy, or maybe the same 15/12 game as the next guy.

Not sure why I opened this thread but that's what I gots to say.

Tons of people who used to play .5/1 on the 1/2 lists, pretty much all I agree are good (no wonder they moved up).

Best players at .5/1 right now:
IanBarns - definitely the best IMO... a pain in my ass.
Holdemhux - plays like 19/12... somehow owns me though
xall12 - solid
agstremist - solid
syphlix - solid

crappy but consistently owns me because I never have a hand and he always does:
juandog111

[/ QUOTE ]

Also the best MTT player in the world in case anyone wasnt aware he played them.
