Beat: My LCD HDTV screen is cracked
Title pretty much sums it up.
My nice, not quite balla but still really cool, 4 month old Samsung 32" LCD HDTV has a nice crack in the lower corner of the screen, which ruins the entire picture. It has a spider web crack basically. Beat 2: Not sure it can be repaired, which means i have a $1400 paper weight if that is the case. Also, not sure what else to do. It was accidental damage, so I am not sure if it is covered by the warranty. Beat 3: My cell phone also quit working. Why dont you just kick me in the nuts while you're at it LIFE!!!

I think almost all LCDs you're viewing the panel itself (not a piece of front glass like a plasma) so a crack is fatal, and the panel is the biggest expense in the TV set. Add in labor costs of replacement and it's probably not close to worth fixing. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
Time to buy a bigger one [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] You can do alot better than a 32" LCD for $1400 now.

I was just moving some stuff around and hit it with one of my guitars. I didnt even realize it at the time since it was off. Turned it on and boom, spider web type crack. At least, thats the story Best Buy is getting, lol. Unless someone can think of something better. What really happened, I got pissed, after yet another suck out and hit my desk and my card protector goes flying right into the screen. They are pretty close together, two or three feet apart. That was the first time in a long long time that I had gotten pissed off about a poker beat. I'm not the tilt monkey that I used to be, but it came back last night.
