Default Re: When will most U.S. banks stop accepting EFT\'s from neteller?

One would think the intent of the law is to keep people from gambling. Apparently by focusing on the family they're hoping all us degenerate gamboooolers don't gamble away the money we should have used to feed and clothe our children. I doubt they'd want to keep me from getting my money back so I can feed my many starving dependents. I mean, heck, if we don't get it back we can't pay taxes with it, can we?

Granted, the intent of the law means nothing, but that's my two cents.

Free, your post was entirely unfair. He qualified his remarks, and no one knows for certain what neteller will do.

[/ QUOTE ]

The other poster did not qualify his remarks, he said that Neteller has not made a statement and that it is "undocumented" as to what Neteller will do.

Neteller has made a statement, and it has been posted or summarized on this forum about 4712 times in the last week. New threads like this are simply the result of people too lazy to read the existing threads.

"Never" is a big favorite. I can't think of any reason why they would stop accepting Neteller EFTs.

nobody knows for sure right now, as neteller has not made any statement. there are RUMORS that they will not follow the lead of Firepay, but that is undocumented as of now.

maybe not the answer you are looking for, but sit tight, keep up with the forums here, and you will know as soon as the rest of us.

He's asking about the actions of U.S. banks, not Neteller.

Possibly friday when the bill is signed?

Read the stickies at the top of the forum. All of this stuff is covered there. US banks cannot be affected by this bill until the banking rules are written. The bill allows 270 days for that.
