Default $50 NLCASH - Flop TP and get reraised

Same villain as my other post, pretty aggressive running at 46/41.

I think this was the first time he reraised me on the flop.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (BB): $88.55
SB: $60.60

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB raises to $1.50</font>, Hero calls $1.00

Flop: ($3) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">SB bets $2.50</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $7.50</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $25.50</font>, Hero?

Hero folds. What can you beat here that he 3bets you on the flop with? J8? maybe a combo draw like Ts9s... I'd fold and wait for a better spot. btw, has the game been going for long?

I'd just muck. It's between that and push, and I you're gonna be far ahead too often if the money gets in here. I'm not a huge fan of the c/r with this hand in this spot; you have a pretty decent but not great hand, and you're gonna be in a crappy spot on half the turn cards in the deck if he calls - to say nothing of when he 3-bets like this.

I'd probably prefer to just call the flop and lead the turn. I think you control the size of the pot better that way.

When reviewing it, I didn't like the c/r either, and normally I would just lead out on the flop, but the villain had been doing it to me, in fact I don't think he lead one single flop, he would just c/r my cbets. So i figured I would start doing it to him, for a little added value when he was just cbetting. But looking back, I should've just stuck to my game.

Ya, mirror poker is foolish, glad to see you realise that.

Board is good for c/c donk turn. FWIW I don't fold here, I put villain on combo draw or 2-pair or better, and I think he's got the combo draw more often. I don't think he has AJ for example.
