Default Re: Foxwoods PLO

The Machine's post reminds me of my favorite PLO story at Foxwoods, or rather a NON-plo story. In September the board announced "we are starting a list of interest for pot-limit omaha." But it just said 'plo' on the board. So I asked them what the stakes were. They said "we don't know, do you want to go on the list?"

So I was like "ummm, a 1/2 plo game is a lot different than a 15-30 one, you had better find out."

I went back ten minutes later and they said it was a 15-30 plo game. It never went.

Moral: if you are lucky enough to find a board that needs to be told what games that they want to spread, be sure to choose stakes that you can afford

i dunno ive never seen it spread there. they have rules to the games they can spread per the gaming commission, which is why they never let me run badugi, double flop games, 2-7 and other crazy games. same reason they dont spread 2-4 O8 anymore. i guess its all regulated what they can and cant run and i thought that that was one of the games never run since i had never seen it. maybe theres just usually not an interest to shove stacks at 55-45% for hours on end. lolmaha

Again, it really depends on the floor you ask. Some of the floor I ask later at night refuse to accomodate me and say "we don't run that here" if I try to get a 2/4 HORSE game going.

Just have to be persistent and ask the right floor people.

They do have PLO, what are you talking about machine?

Its not a regularly run game, but several times in the past few weeks I have heard on the announcement speakers a few PLO games running. Not sure what stakes but always good to ask the floor what they can do

im there 3-4 times a week and i never seen it spread unless a group of friends try to start the game, ur prolly thinking of 75-150 O/8

Nope, definetly was PLO. It has run on a few occasions I have played. Its not common though. You're right, its mostly when there is a group of friends who get a decent list going
