It'd be awesome to listen to barry talk about poker at some of these camps. It's mind boggling some of the camps and other products out there that are just gouging people. In all liklihood, though, the average 2p2er isn't going to get anything out of these big name camps. These things are setup for novice poker players to learn from some of the big names in poker, but it is my impression that most of the "value" in these camps lie in being able to say "I got to meet X, Y, Z, poker players." I'm thinking about buying a seat in one of these camps and if I do I will provide a full trip report for you guys. tc [/ QUOTE ] CR Seminars? Maybe you could hold them at the membership fairs.... |

Re: Barry Greenstein\'s Broadcast of WCOOP
Being the one who initially suggested Fischman....I suggested him on basis of his column on cardplayer (is he still working there?) and his results on tournaments.
I would never ever in my life pick Phil Helmuth because he sucks as a teacher....his game is much deeper than what he can explain to amateurs and IMO that style (which involves playing a character) only fits for him. |

[/ QUOTE ] NH sir. Obv, the worst guest host yet. Absolutely no insight, other than she is so happy to have a travel buddy on the tourney circuit. I think we all know who I'm talkin about. Raymer is awesome too but one night they had him on with Victor Ramdin. Victor getting in a word was like Eli folding K7s to a 16K raise PF - not going to happen. |
