Default Ken\'s November College Hoops

It's getting close to game time so I'm just going to post the pick. Will be back with a short write up and some back round on my history after I take my dog for a walk.

Vermont +12.5 1.1 Unit to win 1

YTD 0-0 +0 units

I'm concerned about Maryland going 1-12 on 3's last night, while Vermont shot the lights out from beyond the arc with over 50%. Vermont's top freshman had a very good game with 20 points off the bench. Vermont may also be the better team under the basket in this one.

I'm disappointed that Neither book I have money in right now had a money line on this one, as I think Vermont would only need to be about +200 to be +EV on the court.

Also, the public is heavy on Maryland on wagerline so thats never a horrible play to go against.

Nice, 2/16 from 3pt land for Vermont.

Yes, that did not go as planned. Turning the ball over and shooting poorly is not the plan for most road teams.

Anyways, back on the horse today.

-2 -1.65 Units YTD

Brown -1.5 1.1 to win 1
St. Bonny's -4 1.1 to win 1

I'll take the mosr experienced Brown team in back to back games.

I have no idea why this line for the Bonny's game is so low. Chicago St is missing its best returning player, along with a few other players for the first half of the season, and I read that the coach considered red shirting his other top player just to save him for next year. I guess I'm trapped on this one ( wagerline is going over 80% on St. Bonaventure.

A guy on the Atlantic 10 boards called Chicago State's athletic department, and their top scorer from last year IS eligible. I was pretty excited about this bet until I heard about that.

Well, I have to win one sometime right?

YTD 0-4 -3.85 Units

Florida Atlantice +26.5 1.1 to win 1
Okla St. is very talented, however Florida Atl is a solid mid Major team that should be able to hang in there and keep it respectable.

Cornell +9.5 @ Northwestern 1.1 to win 1
Northwestern is looking at another middle of the road season while Cornell has shown improvement each other past two years. Cornell returns the Ivy league frshman of the year and should be right in this one.

SU -21.5 vs St. Francis of NY .55 to win .5
I just don't see this one being close, Jimmy B doesn't have a problem running the score up at home. Here in central NY we hear every year how SU wins some phantom NY state championship by beating up on all these tiny schools he schedules every year.

Anyways, fading these should lead you to some solid cash.

OK well I proved I could get a least one winning day this season in ( a small win at that)

Florida Atlantic LOSS -1.1
OK well I underestimated OKLA St.

Cornell +9.5 win +1

Won on the court, feel good about this one.

SU -21.5 Win +.5
Blew em out in the second half and kept pouring it on.

2-1 on the day + .4 Units

2-5 YTD -3.45 Units on 6.6 wagered

One play in College basketball right now:

Michigan -14 vs Davidson 1.1 to win 1

Davidson won a close one yesterday versus Eastern Michigan who is no one special. Michigan got a win versus Central Conn St.

So far in these early season tournys that are hosted at one team's site I think the home court advantage becomes even bigger the second day.

Also leaning Monmouth +13 @ Clemson, may play that later.
