we need 41% equity

more accurate. It is only over 80 hands though. If this was over a large sample this would def be a fold. It would not be weak-tight at all.

This is small sample though, so a push might just be ok, very marginal though. Folding is certainly fine.

you guys are tilting me. if you want to take out those hands, how about you put in AJ, clubs, T8, air, etc.

if you have to mess with a range that only includes near-nut hands in order to lower hero's equity barely enough for continuing to become -ev, that's when you know you shouldn't be folding.

this isn't even close to a fold.

i agree with jessyj, this is closer to a fold than you think tannej. our over outs can be not good here and even if they are you're missing the point that he could draw to a better hand easily if he has a set!

stop being so one dimensional. there are always multiple ways to play every unique situation and folding is always not the worst option. we're not here to gamble, we're here to grind it out

LOL wow this is some fine fine fine work. How is this not getting more love?

All joking aside though, this is the only way to play the hand. Like tannen said, you cant just isolate his range to only the nuts, and in this spot even if you do that you're still drawing very live. If you're going to always range your opponents to exclusively the nuts then you might as well cash out the few Hamiltons you have online and buy some napkins to sop up the drool with.
