People tend to vigorously defending their big blind at the final table. You're in an obvious stealing position here. He doesn't necessarily have to have a hand to make this raise. Of course that's all read dependent material.

I think you played this hand all right though. Assuming no reads, I give BB credit for a hand and fold.

I think this is key: this is a steal, like bob said without any reads and not knowing your image it's a fold pre flop, this hand is too easily behind/dominated by his rr range IMO.

On the flop though where you are i would be tempted to lead out in the hope he's got a pp as he will not want to get involved with your stack without an ace me thinks. But maybe that's a horrific play.

Anyways i'm no expert but do like my first point a lot better than my second.

Congrats on the win btw.

I call 50% here and raise 50% here. It just so happens that it was my time to raise. The table was pretty tight and I was able to steal a lot preflop. Given that, along with the texture of the flop, I think that I can't continue.

I think the preflp raise was correct as was your fold on the flop. The only thing I might do differently 75% of the time is fold to the re-raise preflp.

You fold preflop with 2.2:1 odds?
