On the flip side it should be noted that for the most part these ridiculously superstitious irrational dealer berating players are also the biggest and most consistent tippers. For instance, I was playing 30-60 stud with an older Asian gentleman who was playing bad and losing, and taking every opportunity to berate the dealer for his poor fortune (most of the time in Chinese which the dealer more often than not spoke).
After losing more than a few big bets this way, this Chinese gentleman then proceded to get an ace up. He raised the bring in and everone folded. He exposed the expected split aces and scooped the small pot. Predictably, he gave the dealer a disapproving stare for giving him such a small pot. Then he tipped the dealer a dollar anyways. Basically, these superstitous, irrational people are the lifeblood of commerce, and hence live poker. They play bad, losing to the pros/ semi-pros keeping them happy and they provide much of the tipping for the dealers keeping them employed and happy. So the best thing is to just indulge these persons, let them have their random scrambles and deck changes and taking turns with their (short) rushes and (protracted) downswings and life is good.
