We are not done with AP by a long shot, but we have to proceed in a way that exposes the one rotten apple in the basket and does not throw away the entire thing. As I said, expect more dramabombs. However, do not expect the media to be able to savage AP without also savaging online poker *until* AP is fully exposed as a rogue operator. That would be unrealistic, since the only way they can do a balanced story is by letting AP respond, however stupidly. In the meantime, we are doing our best to get there without upsetting the apple cart. [/ QUOTE ] As such I think every poker site should be interested in this issue and should be taking steps to make sure that this is portrayed in the best manner possible for online poker as a whole. While the players certainly have a responsibility to control the spin on this, I am surprised to hear limited commentary from the owners of the other poker sites since it will likely affect their business if this comes out wrong. The key is to hold Absolute Poker accountable and not make this a reflection on every site. I do think this can have very positive effects on how other sites treat the gravity of cheating implications in the future. Hopefully, other major sites will issue affirmative statements soon endorsing both the fact that online poker is still a secure industry and why it is safe and clarify that this instance is merely the result of the greed and moral turpitude of a few select people. |

I don't play at Absolute so have not needed to make a withdrawal. How many of you have actually been successful at withdrawing your money for AP???? Their PR's have all stated that your money is safe and everyone will be paid, are they following through on that statement so far??? |
