Default TPBK vs overaggro BTN PF 3b

Villain is 37/20/3 over 100 and has been 3b very light on the button, he will always bet when checked to, but gives up on the turn when faced with resistance.

Don't normally raise this hand UTG, but HJ and CO are tighties so I'm basically the CO.

Villains pf3b range is something close to 22+,A2s+,K5s+,Q7s+,J8s+,T8s+,98s,87s,76s,A2o+,K8o+ ,Q8o+,J9o+,T9o

How would you feel about a flop c/r, then c/c the turn and river?

This looks good. You want him go keep firing his KT.

Looks like a farily vanilla wa/wb. Seems standard. More money to be made inducing aggression from underpairs or bluffs (given villain's wide 3-bet range pf) than trying to push the action when you have no way of knowing if you're ahead.

I don't like c/r on the flop unless you're absolutely sure villain will still bet to a check on a bricked turn. Even players with a severe betting reflex will avoid getting c/r'd twice on successive streets.

Nice Wa/Wb,

i'd only consider 3 betting the flop and bet turn/river if villain is _very_ showdownbound

b/f river is better if you can trust him not to bluff raise
many people will call but not bet the river with a big PP

b/f river is better vs a narrower range. This guy has so many nothing hands in his range and he'll probably bet most of them aswell as his big pps.

I doubt that. OP raised UTG

I think that his read of 'has been 3b very light on the button' most likely comes from 3bets of late position raises

also this is a terrible board to triple barrel on. it's pretty obvious that hero is showing down when he c/c the turn

Against a standard player I agree, because the chance of a big PP is magnified due to the pf3b. Against a player with this kind of pf3b range the odds of their holding rags overwhelms that of their holding a big pp, though, so the best way to extract value (particularly given villain's betting reflex) is to induce the third-bullet bluff. With villain's described range he's folding to our bet far too often (or worse, dragging the pot with a random berzerko bluff-raise).

There's a lot of value to be lost in assuming that your opponents are as smart as you are

Seriously, if we have a specific read that indicates the villain is crafty and can distinguish between a wet and dry board, then sure. Assuming your opponent puts you on a hand when he actually doesn't is -EV. Unless specifically recognizing the villain as a crafty LAG, I'd say it's better to assume he's just playing with naked aggression.
