A player that I respect and has some nice wins under his belt critcized my call.

Don't worry about it. He is definitely not as good as you think if he criticizes that call.

Sorry about the shouting, im at work and the software only works in caps. I appreciate all the input. I called and he turned over JJ, I lost. A player that I respect and has some nice wins under his belt critcized my call. it's been in my head. Meanwhile I lasted longer than him but didn't make money.

[/ QUOTE ]

much better without caps...don't dwell on results...late game poker will put some tough spots in front of you and you can't run and hide...you will be right some times and wrong others but you have to keep the final goal in mind

for what it's worth I've bubbled 4 times in the last two nights...told my buddy who said "that's good...you're back to playing to win"...as Barry said if you feel the decision is correct be happy and this was the right call in the long run unless the pusher was really rely tight

Why take the chance at a 50/50 race? Even worse, if he has an overpair, then your a ~80% dog. Get your $$$ in when you have an edge....................
