Off to Dallas for business. While I am gone, ponder this thread. Photoc and LasVegasMichael constantly promote www.allvegaspoker.com in the forums as a place where peole can find out what games are being spread at any given time in Vegas. We kind of ignore it because its always buried in someone else's thread, they never start threads about the site on their own. But I have told them both at different times to tone it down. I was surprised to see that some regulars in B&M don't like the standad AVP responce that they give... this has been going on since long before i was a mod, hence why I personally have always overlooked it (not sure what RR or JBB thinks, no time to ask them). So... is this too spammy, even though its a very good resource for people visiting Vegas?

I usually overlook it if it is provided in a useful way. If they were to post a thread saying "come visit AVP" I would delete it. I think it is ok when someone asks a quesiton if they answer it and say "here is a link to the complete article about it." I would delete it if someone asked a question and they provided a link only without answering.

Spoke to Mason about this issue last night, he belives that All Vegas Poker should purchase an add if they want to continue to advertise subliminally through posts. Will communicate this to Photoc and Las Vegas Michael.
