Default Little Caesars and Crapless Craps

In the early 90s I remember stumbling into Little Caesars (not Caesars) Casino in Vegas and them offering something called crapless craps. Since that was some time ago, I don't remember the exact details of the game and every 6 months or so I think back and wonder what the rules were.

I do remember being quite drunk and winning a hefty sum for a college student in a few hours. I also remember having almost every damn number on the board.

Can someone help me remember what the rules to that game must have been? I can do the math and find the casino advantage if someone just helps fill in the blanks.

I tried to search and couldn't find any meaningful results.

Maybe this belongs in Brick in Morter, I don't know.

They offer it at the Stratosphere. Tom makes a good point --- it's not a sound bet. But it is appealing in that if you have a long roll, you can make a TON of money, getting paid on any non-7. If the 3 or 11 is the point, you'll get 3x on the odds. 2 or 12, it's 6x. I know from the past that the payout in placing the bets makes it worthwhile to pay the $1 vig and BUY the extreme out numbers (2,3,11,12), even if you're only placing $10. Of course, it depends on the casino and what's offered by a straight place bet. (STL casinos offer $22 for $8 placed on the 3 or 11, which means you should buy once your bet is at least $20).
