Default hitting the set

okay so now that i know or have an understanding on how to play my low pockets preflop.
my next question to all of you is how should i play my pockets if i hit a set.
say im in early or near late position but have one player before and one after me and i have middle set.
how should the hand go, counting that there are no flush draws or staright draws on the flop?

Default Re: hitting the set

IMO you should bet and raise alot more than you c/r or slow play sets. Just maintain a solid level of aggression. If I'm in early position I think it's harder to slow play because your at a positional disadvantage. When your in late pos its easier to slow play hands like sets. It always depends on the texture of the board, what type of players your facing, and many other things.
