It is kind of driving me crazy.

It is by Pedro the Lion and here are the lyrics:

I looked on song some meanings sites and everyone says it is about a problem gambler, which doesn't make sense.

I've always assumed that it was about a racecar driver or something similar.

Note: David Bazan usually doesn't have cryptic meanings in his lyrics, so it probably isn't impossible to figure out.

OP - I don't know if I'm way off base here, but to me this song is about how we all live our own secret lives. Everyone has that dark side that they struggle to keep from revealing their true self. I don't know where I'm going with this, but it's something I've been thinking about more these days.
