Type in villain's name into sharkscope.
If he's profitable, fold, if he's a fish, call. |

Re: (78) Call Huge river overbet?
Also, I think betting the river for about 150 would have been good too......and not just because he overbet the river, but because your hand has enough value where you don't want him to just check behind you, and at the same time, it's a bit of a blocking bet as well.

Re: (78) Call Huge river overbet?
I almost never call the huge river overbet with TP only. All you beat is a bluff, and even morons generally never bluff more than the pot. I'd be surprised if he didn't have a 6 or a set. But yeah, if he's a gigantic loser on sharkscope maybe. I still don't think that protects you against him having a 6 here.

Re: (78) Call Huge river overbet?
I would probably bet the turn again.
But river is a fold. |

I like the way you played it before the river check. Bet the river. As played I probably fold fast, but what sparta says makes sense, if he is a huge loser, his range is huge.

I just pass-I don't care if he is a big loser or not. If its a bluff, then nice hand.

Re: (78) Call Huge river overbet?
Where did we try to win this pot?
The flop bet was too weak to buy it or rep a hand, then the turn 6 scares us and we make a crying call..... Lead for 90-120 on the flop and shut it down to resistance on the turn. As played, we can't call the river, there will be other spots to get our chips in the middle. |

The six didn't exactly "scare" me, but it's a good card for him to bluff, which my intention was to check/call the turn, and then check/call river, but he made that ridiculous bet on the river I wondered if I should follow through with my intended line. |
