Default Has anyone heard of this site?

Pokerpayday.com? I saw it in Cardplayer I think. Anyway, i checked it out last night and here is the basics. They offer to stake you in major tournaments, live and online, you just have to fill out an application and take a pretty basic poker knowledge test (which was pretty lame IMO). They have a forum and offer you the "training" you need to prepare yourself for the bigger tourneys. They have an application fee for if you are approved for staking, otherwise it is not applicable. Just curious if anyone else had seen this or looked into it.

Skimmed the FAQ and found this a bit odd.

6. Who will I be representing if I am sponsored?

We have several large corporate sponsors including Poker PayDay that will be helping or staking our players. Several online casinos in the Poker Room network, the Prima network, Full Tilt poker, WSOP event sponsors, Pro Play Live, Lederer and Duke Fantasy Camp, CardPlayer Cruises, Tropicana Poker Club, RakeFreePoker.com, and many others with new cash and incentive sponsors coming on board each week

What's the difference? And it's a Nevada company.

Flipped through the application. At the end of the "application" they ask for way too much financial information. There is a $99 charge if you are "sponsored."

They want:
CC # + info
Bank account# + tracking

No chance. Looks like some type of ripoff/scam to me. No way am I entering that info into a random website. Mabye a rakeback/affiliate type of offer to get a bunch of signups.

Not saying this is not a scam, but I am enjoying my Mansion money, and that sounded way to good to be true.
