$16 1010 call the preflop-raise?
Is this a preflop-fold? I know I did something wrong here..villian is unknown, but has been semi-tight so far

Preflop is ok. c/c the flop and see the turn, probably folding if he bets again.

pre-flop is fine, post-flop is off

Re: $16 1010 call the preflop-raise?
preflop i usually open raise, this seems ok. the c/r on the flop is pretty bad, what do you want to happen here? c/c, id fold if he bets again most likely. if youre in position im usually willing to play bigger pots with TT early (and with a read obviously). depending on the villain TT still has lots of overpair value but you have to think about what youre trying to do with your line, cause it doesnt make a whole lot of sense.

Re: $16 1010 call the preflop-raise?
Basically, a semitight player might have made a pf raise with an PP, AT+, maybe KQ. I wouldhave raised pf, and even if not led the flop. You should have the best hand, but check raising is definitely not the best way to find out.

Re: $16 1010 call the preflop-raise?
c/r is off. Open raise pre and lead the flop....will most likely give you a better idea of where you are at. Usually with a strong hand (JJ-AA and AK depending on the villian) hes gonna 3-bet so that will set off some alarms before the flop. Depending on the flop you get, you now have a little bit better idea of where you are at. Hope this helps (and is decent advice)

for the record I meant c/c>c/r, leading the flop is of course also fine/standard.
