without a specific read on him I'm fine just c/f'ing here because I def don't think you've got a profitable SD and this guy is unlikely to check the turn here if you peel the flop.

Even if villain is a dope, even weak players give more weight to an UTG raise.

I don't see any reason to continue in the hand.

I would fold.

If you call he will just second barrel with his bluff and even if he bluffs with overcards/gutshots he has decent equity.

To hard to play 99 here.

Whats other option? Reise hand and bet turn?

I would not cap it preflop for reason it is ti hard to get out if overcards come on flop.

Just fold. You're behind a very big part of his range. This is a situation that if you continue you'll lose the max when behind and win the minimum when in front (plus if your in front villain probably has a ton of outs).

this is a pretty easy cap imo. you prob beat his range {55+,A9s+,KJs+,QJs,ATo+,KQo} and you have position.

As for the AQ8r decision, the hand becomes very hard to play postflop when your opponent is unknown so i don't blame you for folding right away.

If you know your opponent is unlikely to 3-barrel without kq or better then you must peel flop and turn i think. iirc, this is pretty typical opponent in your games so maybe its correct even vs. unknown.
